
OBJECTIVES
The object of AUGEIAS follows the flow of Data Collection-Correlation and data analysis-prediction, optimization and automation of processes-presentation of results. More specifically:
- Data collection from IoT devices / sensors via a suitable low power wide area network (LPWAN)
- Exploitation of open data (weather data, GIS, soil quality, etc.)
- Correlation and data analysis using cloud technology
- Development of a quality assessment machine and characteristics of treated wastewater and risk assessment of its use in crops
- Development of an algorithm for mixing treated wastewater with clean water to reduce the risk of using it for irrigation purposes
- Implementation of a notification mechanism in case of leakage
- Needs forecasting, optimization and automation of resource management of crop monitoring and automation system and biological treatment, taking into account a dynamic pricing scheme of treated wastewater and
- Creating parameter optimization and automation of the irrigation process

AIMS OF THE PROJECT
- IoT system design and development. Development of needs forecasting, optimization and process automation mechanisms to support system scaling
- Creation of data collection and unification point from different sources, their evaluation, production of statistics and creation of correlations for the determination of crop risk using treated wastewater and creation of a model for correlation of quality and characteristics of treated wastewater with the qualitative and quantitative change of production.
- Development of a user-friendly web environment for the presentation of sensor recordings and statistics
- Development of machine learning and prediction algorithms for support and decision making
- Development of a user-friendly application for farmers and managers of biological treatment
